HERM WEBER

As a 50-year career distinguished architect and self-taught realistic painter, Herm Weber still captivates with his brilliance and eye for capturing the essence of whatever he chooses to paint. Where it is both personal to him and relatable to his audience.
He has said there is a lot of art in architecture; in both cases, he says, “it’s all about learning to see.” It is a lesson Weber has learned well. Most of his works were inspired by his travels from Hawaii to Maine to Canada, in Europe, across Asia, Africa and back here at home. Wherever he goes, the artist sees not only the expected natural splendors, but the dignity and humanity of the people and cultures he encounters. Herm’s art is not only appealing visually, but one can get an emotional sense of a journey.
